What Is “Energy” in Tantra?
When we talk about energy in Tantra, we are not referring to anything mystical or abstract. It is something very real and observable.
It shows up as:
- The feeling of aliveness in your body
- The tension you carry in your shoulders
- The calm after a deep breath
- The heaviness after emotional stress
- The lightness when you feel joy
Your energy is constantly shifting based on:
- Your thoughts
- Your environment
- Your relationships
- Your awareness
Most people live disconnected from this. They feel tired but don’t know why. They feel tense but ignore it. They feel overwhelmed but keep pushing forward.
Tantra invites you to do the opposite:
Pause. Feel. Listen.
Why Inner Connection Matters
Before you can deeply connect with anyone else, you must first reconnect with yourself.
Without inner connection:
- You react instead of respond
- You seek validation externally
- You feel drained without understanding why
- You struggle to maintain emotional balance
But when you are connected:
- You notice subtle changes within you
- You regulate your emotions better
- You move with intention instead of impulse
- You feel grounded, calm, and aware
Inner connection is not something you “achieve.”
It is something you practice daily.
The Shift From Thinking to Feeling
One of the biggest transformations in this phase is moving from:
- Living in your head → Living in your body
Most people are trapped in constant thinking:
- Planning
- Worrying
- Replaying past events
But your body is always in the present.
This phase trains you to:
- Feel your breath
- Notice sensations
- Become aware of tension
- Recognize emotional signals in your body
This is where real awareness begins.
